SEMA “Best in Show”

Aaron worked behind the scenes on a monumental team build: Sung Kang’s Datsun 240Z that won the “Gran Turismo Best in Show” award. Aaron recalls the awards night with a smile and says, “Sung kept trying to give me the award and telling me, ‘But I didn’t build it, you did the work!’ I laughed and handed it back to him. He’s a really nice person—very humble. Whenever we got stuck on the build, he’d come hang out with us at the shop, even on all-nighters, just to be there and to give us his support.”

Aaron fabricated the turbo kit on the R35 GTR that won “Best Asian Import” at SEMA.

Another year, Aaron worked on the team build that dropped the 2JZ-GTE motor into this Scion FR-S, which won “Best Asian Import”. It was later turned into a race car.
